Announcements


    The deferred final exam is on Thursday, May 5 from 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. room 402 Allen Building. Please bring your student card, a calculator, and pencils.

    The draft formula sheet for the final exam is given here. The exam is based on material from chapters 2-11, 37, with the following exceptions: 6.2, 9.9, 11.9, 37.3, 37.4 (Lorentz transformation part), and 37.5-37.6. In addition, you are not responsible for material on vector (cross) products given in sections 3.3 and in chapter 11. Finally, as an alternative to the discussion of thermal energy associated with work done by friction in sections 8.4-8.5, I summarize the approach presented in class here.

    Homework solutions for chapters 1-37 are posted in the Homework Problems section.
