Required Materials
These materials are required for the course and may be purchased from the University of Manitoba Bookstore
Text Book:	Fundamentals of Physics (Wiley) 10^th edition. The text can be purchased in either hardcopy binder-ready formats. Volumes 1 and 2 are required for this course (PHYS 1050). Volumes 1 and 2 will be used in PHYS 1070. Volumes 1 and 2 will also be needed for the electrical engineering students who will take PHYS 2152.	The 9^th edition of Halliday Resnick and Walker may also be used. A list that cross references problems in the 9^th edition with those in the 10^th edition is provided.
