Directions
See Google Maps for driving directions and the University of Winnipeg campus maps. To get to 3M69 (see this map): (1, green route) enter at Manitoba Hall across from the bus station, go to the 3rd floor, and turn right (2, blue route) enter at Centennial Hall, go to 3rd floor on escalators, turn right (small zigzag backwards necessary) then left into Manitoba Hall.
Parking
If you are driving (especially from Brandon), please contact Andrew Frey to confirm. To have WITP pay your parking: (1) email the WITP address before noon Mon 26 Aug, (2) park in the RecPlex parkade and get a ticket when you enter (see parking map here), (3) get a parking voucher from Andrew at the symposium, (4) use both your ticket and the voucher when you leave.
Food
WITP will provide coffee/snacks in the morning and lunch at noon. Contact Andrew Frey with dietary restrictions.
Information for Speakers
Talks will be 20 minutes per speaker, including questions and set-up time. You can present using your own computer or have your talk on a USB key (pdf or powerpoint). Remember that most of the audience will be students who haven't studied your area of research!
