Registering for WileyPLUS

This year we will be using WileyPLUS, which is a web-based supplement to our textbook that

contains many useful study aids and learning resources. Our WileyPLUS site includes:

• The complete online textbook

• The student solution manual

• Many other study aids...

  1. Online homework

You will need WileyPLUS for online homework, based on problems from our textbook (Cutnell

and Johnson, Physics, 8th edition, published by Wiley). WileyPLUS has the great advantage that you get immediate feedback on your answers and hints that guide you toward the solution of a problem. So, you get help when you need it and credit to your final grade in the course (up to 5%).

To access WileyPLUS, you need to purchase a registration code. You have two options:

Buy a new copy of the printed textbook in the bookstore - the access code for

WileyPLUS is included at no additional cost. Make sure you don’t lose this registration

code! We have negotiated a great deal from the publishers on the “Binder Ready”

version of the textbook, which is a complete printed version ready to insert in a 3-ring

binder, providing considerable cost savings and flexibility compared with the traditional

bound version. The total cost for the Binder Ready text, including WileyPLUS and a discount coupon for an iClicker, is $86.95.

Purchase only the registration code and rely on the online version of the text that is

included with WileyPLUS. (If you have acquired a second-hand copy of the printed

textbook, you will also have to buy the registration code separately). The cost is $68.95 –

only $18 less than the binder-ready bundle. You can purchase the registration code online at www.wileyplus.com/buy, or at the customer service desk at the bookstore.
